Welcome to My Blog — A Real Talk About Crypto and My Journey
Hi guys,
Thanks for stopping by my blog. Today is Sunday — I should be resting, but here I am, writing this post. Honestly, I feel tired, but maybe writing will help me feel better. Sundays always hit different… because Monday is just around the corner.
Anyway, let me get back to what I wanted to share.
My journey with crypto started way back — around 2009. I’m not exactly sure whether it was 2008 or 2009 when Bitcoin first came, and to be honest, I didn’t really care at that time. I was still in college, busy with life, classes, and random things.
Back then, there were websites like PTC (Paid-To-Click), and we used to earn a few satoshis (small amounts of Bitcoin) by clicking ads. I used those earnings to recharge my phone. I had no idea that one day, Bitcoin would become something this big. Today, I often wonder — why didn’t I buy and hold more back then? Trust me, I think about it 100 times a day.
Right now, I’m working in a good company. I’m happy with what I have, but sometimes it feels like no matter how much I work, the credit goes to someone else. That’s frustrating. You know, earning money is an art — and while there are many wrong ways to do it, I truly believe in choosing the right path, even if it takes longer.
Let’s talk about crypto again (yes, I get distracted a lot — maybe because I’m writing this with some tea and snacks!).
So, when crypto came, it was basically a digital currency. Simple explanation? Bitcoin runs on something called blockchain — a kind of digital ledger where all transactions are recorded. But the interesting part is that the identity of people who buy or sell stays hidden. That’s why it became popular among people who didn’t want their financial transactions tracked — especially those dealing in black money.
Then came the Bitcoin mining era. People literally made millions just by mining it. Now, there are thousands of digital coins out there. In 2019, I came across WazirX — many of you might know it now, it’s one of the top crypto platforms in India. I remember investing in a token called Shiba Inu. I had 91 tokens and dreamed of becoming rich overnight.
But yeah… in crypto, not everything goes as planned. That platform got hacked, and I lost my tokens. It was heartbreaking. I’ll share more information about that incident soon after I do some proper research and verify the facts.
Anyway, this was a little piece of my crypto journey — real, raw, and from the heart.
